ACT Policing is calling for information from the public following recent vandalism at schools across Canberra.

Between 3.30pm Thursday, 17 January 2019 and 7.30pm Friday, 18 January 2019; unknown offenders gained access to a tractor on the soccer fields of Gold Creek Primary School and Holy Spirit Primary School on Kelleway Avenue, Nicholls (reference 6354030).

The offenders used the tractor to cause damage to the artificial turf field, perimeter fence panels and large bags of rubber compound stored near the field, before ramming a smaller tractor and knocking it onto its side.

Between 2am Wednesday, 16 January and 11am Monday, 21 January 2019, police attended three incidents of property damage at Harrison School (reference 6353196, 6353244 and 6355076).

Police do not believe any of these incidents are linked, and investigations remain ongoing.

Police would like to remind residents living near schools to report suspicious activities, and are calling on anyone with knowledge of these incidents to come forward.

Anyone with any information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
