Out-of-hours works are required to make adjustments to the light rail concrete track slab near the intersection of Nullarbor Avenue and Flemington Road. This will involve workers using jackhammers to excavate small sections of concrete between Monday 25 and Saturday 30 March, each night between the hours of 11:00pm and 5:00am.

These works are required to take place at night to avoid impacting day-time operations of the light rail vehicles. At times, this work is expected to be noisy and Canberra Metro Construction appreciates your patience and understanding as we carry out these vital works.

The following week, additional works will also be required during the same hours to complete these works and further notification will be delivered to you prior to this work taking place.

Traffic Management:

There will be no impact to traffic.

Additional Information:

The equipment to be used includes jack hammers, grinders, light vehicles and light towers.

The project team will ensure the number of machines operating at the same time is limited and equipment turned off when not in use. Non-tonal reversing beepers will be used* and workers will be instructed to keep noise to a minimum.
