The Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Union Club represents the Gungahlin area and it’s surrounding suburbs in Canberra’s premier Rugby Union competitions. Between 1967 and 1972, the Eagles (Daramalan) rose up through the ranks of Canberra Rugby, winning grand finals in the Sub-district B division, ACT Third Grade and ACT Second grade competitions. After finally cracking the premier division of ACT rugby, the Eagles won their first ever John I Dent Cup title in 1975.

We’ve had Wallabies, Brumbies and UC Vikings players representing the Eagles, and our playing list has deepened and grown in size and talent.

The Gungahlin Eagles senior player registration opens at the start of each year. If you’re looking to play rugby in the Gungahlin area in any senior competition, no matter your skill level or gender, we have a team for you.

To register, simply follow this link Gungahlin Eagles Seniors Registration

If you’re new to the club or don’t know your RugbyLink ID (it will be in any previous email from them), you need to email with your name, phone number and the name of the last club/association you were registered with.

The club is continuing with the ‘no pay, no play policy’. There will be no part payment option either.

Email the same address if you have any other concerns or questions.
