Revised development application for 120 The Valley Avenue

In November last year we reported of a proposed development application for 120 The Valley Avenue which was rejected by Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate on the 6th November 2017. A revised development application has been submitted DA201833460 which removes the previously proposed retirement village and provides for additional car parking.

The development application proposes a 4 storey commercial development comprising of a medical centre, pharmacy, office space, health facility, 144 place child care centre, 125 basement car parking, 46 on grade car parking, signage and landscaping.

It is proposed to have on the ground floor a medical centre offering aa range of discrete health services, including a dentist, Doctors consutling room, pathology service as well as e-ray and ultrasound. A pharmacy will also be located on the ground floor with access only from within the centre. A cafe will also be located on the ground floor within the centre.

The second and third storeys will be office space leased to not for profit organsiations which has not yet been determined.

The top storey will be a child care centre catering for infants to toddlers featuing an outdoor play area.
