Watch Out For Your Neighbours

In the final quarter of last year there was a total number of 61 burglaries reported in Gungahlin. Only Woden and Weston Creek reported less than that in that quarter. The 61 reported is under the average of 70.25 for the year. The number of incidents reported equates to be 1.3 incidents per 1,000 people. This is under the average across Canberra of 1.55 incidents per 1,000 people.The number of burglaries reported last quarter by suburb are:

You can help reduce burglaries in your neighbourhood by getting to know your neighbours and keeping an eye out for suspicious behaviour and reporting it to police.

Consider joining your local Neighbourhood Watch group and encouraging your neighbours to do the same.
