Today visitors to the Capital Region Farmers Market were treated with a special visit from Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter.
As part of this year’s tenth birthday celebrations, the Capital Region Farmers Market recently announced a very generous donation of $50,000 to the Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter Service.
At 9am the rescue helicopter flew in from Canberra’s East and circled the Farmers Market before landing next to the market to the delight of onlooking spectators.
Children were given an extra treat of being able to climb into the helicopter to see it close up.
