Police seeking witnesses or dashcam footage of ram raid at Casey Market Town

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses or dashcam footage of a ram raid that occurred at Casey Market Town on Sunday, 10 December 2017.

About 5.00am, a silver Toyota Landcruiser bearing ACT registration YIC87E smashed through the doors at the location. A number of offenders exited the vehicle and removed an ATM.

Police have recovered the Toyota Landcruiser (burnt-out) and ATM (damaged with cash stolen).

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations team is investigating.

ACT Policing is also aware of the Toyota Landcruiser running a red light in the City on the evening of Saturday, 9 December 2017.

Police are calling for anyone who may have dashcam footage of the Toyota Landcruiser or information in relation to this incident to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can also be provided via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
