Police renew call for witnesses to hit and run in Moncrieff

ACT Policing is renewing its call for information, witnesses or dash-cam footage of a possible hit and run incident in Moncrieff on Monday, 5 November 2018.

About 5.20pm, a vehicle – believed to be a blue 2016 Toyota Yaris – entered Rochelle Street from the roundabout off Slim Dusty Drive, and collided with a 10-year-old boy.

The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly, however it is believed the driver did not attempt to check the welfare of the child before leaving the area along Rochelle Street.

The boy suffered an injury to his right foot.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage of Rochelle Street or Slim Dusty Drive, Moncrieff between 5pm and 5.30pm, 5 November 2018.
