Police investigating suspicious fire in Bonner

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire which occurred in Bonner this morning (Monday, 19 January 2018).

Around 8.45am, police were called to a residence in Peter Coppin Street, Bonner where witnesses reported smoke coming from the house.

ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire. Following an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious.

The circumstances surrounding the fire are being investigated by ACT Policing Criminal Investigations.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or have information about the fire, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
