Police appeal for public information following reptile zoo burglary

ACT Policing is calling on information from the public following a burglary at the Canberra Reptile Zoo.

About 8.30am today (Friday, 19 July 2019), police responded to reports of a burglary at the zoo, located on O’Hanlon Place, Nicholls. The premises appears to have been illegally accessed sometime after 7pm Thursday, 18th July.

A number of items were stolen from the zoo, including two large Pythons, and a juvenile fresh water crocodile.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious near the zoo, or who may have dash cam footage of the zoo or surrounding area, between 7pm Thursday, 18 July and 8.30am Friday, 19 July 2019.
