The Girls' Brigade is a vibrant community providing activities for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. It is a relationship building, achievement based program which has been developed especially for girls, incorporating physical, social, educational and spiritual aspects.
Girls’ Brigade is an International youth organisation with a proven track record in bringing girls into relationship with a living God, and to be able to actively and enthusiastically express their love for God and others through their communities. Girls come together to learn new skills, take part in activities and events and discover Jesus in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our leaders are passionate about what they do and committed to the girls and to Girls’ Brigade. All our leaders are required to hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Card and to undertake ChildSafe training.
We are a part of Gungahlin Uniting Church, and meet on Wednesday nights 6:30pm-8pm during school terms at Northside Salvation Army (104 The Valley Way, Gungahin). New members are welcome.
The Church also runs Gungahlin Boys’ Brigade next door Gungahlin Uniting Church at the same time.
