Our Club:
Canberra's oldest Club formed in 1957 with a proud tradition of advancing the sport. The Bears have a long list of multiple family members, from grandparents
to children and grandchildren all participating in the Club over many years and all levels. A long history of inviting guest players from Canada,
USA and Europe has given the Bears assistance in developing local talent and adding depth to the League.
Our Mission:
We aim to provide an enjoyable environment for all players to learn the skill of baseball and participate in a spirit of fair play.
Our goals are to:
- Achieve results to the best of our ability at every level
- Produce skilled players to graduate to our Senior Teams
- Identify & produce players of sufficient skill to go onto representative honours at State, National and Professional level
- Become a Baseball Club of national significance
- Promote an enjoyable social atmosphere
- Encourage wider participation in baseball within our local community
