Angel Gowns ACT, where our community comes together to help families facing the unimaginable through kind donations & angelic transformations.

Angel Gowns – ACT is an organisation run by volunteers that collects donated wedding and formal gowns and lovingly transforms them into little angel gowns for babies who are born sleeping, or prematurely and don’t make it, or don’t survive an illness and never make it home from hospital.

Although it is our hope that no-one should ever need our service, we are available and can be contacted should anyone be faced with the unimaginable loss of their child.

We are seeking volunteers to help, and donations of wedding and formal dresses as well as other much needed items such as sewing thread, 3mm and 6mm ribbon, lace (all in white, ivory, light pink and light blue), decals that are suitable for both boy and girl angelic gowns, pins, pickers, scissors, sewing machine needles, or vouchers to Spotlight or Lincraft.

We have already had such an incredible response to Angel Gowns – ACT and our parent site Angel Gowns Australia (with representatives now in each state and NZ) that we now have a wonderful amount of volunteer seamstresses and are ready to have donation drop off days in 3 locations, Queanbeyan, North Canberrra (Ngunnawal) and South Canberra (Greenway).

If you can help please Angel Gowns can be contacted through private message on the Angel Gowns – Facebook page.
